Use redundancy where failure matters

A backup body, duplicate media, extra power, redundant storage, and a second way to trigger or sync can matter more on a paid event than another optional lens. The generator adds those items when the shoot calls for them.

What changes what ends up on the list?

The shoot type sets the core camera and support kit. Duration, travel, outdoor weather, lighting, audio, tethering, and a backup body each add the items that condition calls for.

How many batteries and memory cards does it suggest?

Two of each per shoot day, never fewer than two. Multi-day jobs also get a labeled card and battery rotation plan.

Can I edit the generated list?

Yes. Rename, add, or remove any item, check things off as you pack, then copy or print it. The list and your progress stay saved in this browser.
