Online booking lets clients choose and reserve a session time themselves instead of settling it over email. GearDex publishes your session types on your Site, offers only the times you're free, and turns each booking into a client record, a shoot plan, a contract and a deposit invoice.

A client asks if you're free next week. You offer three times, they pick the one you gave away yesterday, and once it's settled you still have to send the contract and chase the deposit.

When a client books, GearDex finds or creates their client record, starts a shoot plan from your template, holds the kit linked to that session type, and sends the contract and the deposit invoice. The confirmation tells the client their time is held until the deposit is paid, with links to add it to their calendar or reschedule.

A mini-session day splits one date into short back-to-back slots, with a break between them if you want one. Share the link and clients book the slots themselves. When the day fills, a waitlist opens, and if someone cancels, the first person on it gets an email that a spot opened up.

No. Deposit invoices carry your own payment link, such as Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, Square or Cash App, and the money goes straight to you.
Yes. Set a session type to I approve each request. The time is held for as many hours as you choose while you approve or decline it in Pipeline.
Clients can add their booking to Google Calendar from the confirmation page. For your side, a private feed link puts confirmed bookings in Apple Calendar or any app that subscribes to calendars. A two-way Google Calendar connection that keeps your busy times off the booking page is coming soon.
