What is a camera gear value tracker?
A camera gear value tracker records what you paid for each camera, lens, and accessory and what it's worth now, then totals it across your kit. GearDex adds market price lookups, depreciation, six-month trends, warranty status, and insurance exports, so the number is ready for a policy, a claim, or a sale.
Most photographers can't say what their kit is worth.
Ask for the total and you get a range. Prices move, lenses get sold and replaced, and the receipts live in three inboxes. The gap shows up at the worst time, when an insurer asks for a schedule or a bag goes missing.
